My gear is pre-raid or prehaps slightly below pre-raid (I miss a few key items that I would like to get to improve my hit but in general I think my gear is good enough to raid in). I will give a more precise account of my gear if it is wished but I am currently at University and do not have access to my character.

Herbalism & Mining because I feel they are the most economic.

• Previous raiding experience and details.
I have played WoW since the beta, focusing mainly on PvP. I raided the entirety of MC Onyxia and BWL before TBC came out at which point I only raided for badges because, unless you were in a top tier radiing guild, pve'ing did not directly benefit my class (Rogue). I achieved rank 3 on Blackout EU playing Rogue Rogue in 2v2 and held numerous high rated teams in all brackets during this period. I consider myself a compitant gamer and know that I can compete at any level of play.


• Raid attendence - You know the raid times and the raid days. Do you have any problem making these?
I have no problem.

- Are you an adult in control of your own playtime or is it dictated for you? Will anything cause you to quit early/afk/cancel the pre-organised event at a moments notice with 39 other people from all over the world who put time aside to spend it with you?
I cannot forsee any of the above occuring.

• Are you comfortable with the fact that you may not always have a raid spot?
Yes

• Are you willing to download/use all the necessary addons that are requied to raid with us?
Yes


Final Exit

• What were your former guilds and why did you leave them?
I have only played in one guild previously which was <TAZANIAN WHITESKINS> the reason I left was because i was playing socially with 2 friends at the time, one of whom had a disagreement with the Guild leader which escalated. I felt it would be better if I left in order to not cause disharmony within the guild. Ultimatly it was a complete clusterfuck of ego's, mine included, which resulted in my refusal to accept some of their conditions when I reapplied later (I cant remeber the exacts). In the end I had grave misgivings about the Guild leader and do not regret the decision, only the manner in which it was exectued.

• What would you bring to Final Exit as a guild?
A wealth of experince and ability as well as a friendly and commited attitude.

• What would you expect from Final Exit as a guild?
A mature attitude and consistant application of guild rules.

Remember this is minimum, feel free to add anything that you feel will interest us. Your application is the first impression we get of you. Take your time and write a good application. Answering questions with "yes or no" or a single sentence does not make it a good application.

I would only add that I also have access to a Warrior with Tier 0 and may be able to access a Priest and Rogue in Tier 1, I would be happy to join with these characters if I can access them, my wish is mainly to raid and enjoy the company of a guild. I have no particular ties to my Mage in terms of which character I would join with, if accepted.

I am also willing to talk to any officers on TeamSpeak if there are any reservations, as I know some guilds follow this practice.

Sorry if I gave you the impression it was BIS pre-raid, I dont for a minute think that. I only think that I can raid in it.

Sorry to spam your forum but also keep in mind that I said at the end that I have no commitment to joining as a Mage, I am willing to even level a new character based on the guild's requirements, I only want to raid. Consider this more as an application for me as a person rather than my character.

Your gear reflects your dedication in my opinion. You`re not here "to replace your gear" you`re here to help out, not be a burden to other players.

get as much pre BWL gear as possible (maybe even some gear from BWL pugs if you are wealthy enough to pay for it), then apply again. no guild at a higher progress than MC will take you to a raid on this server with that gear, because gear is so easy to get with 24/7 20 man pugs and nearly daily MC pugs.
apart from that your app was pretty decent, but i advise you to pick a class you really like and stick to it. i know why, i have been the one to pick the spec/class that was currently needed in nearly all the guilds i was in during my wow career. earlier or later it gets on your tits if you agreed play a class while you would much rather play another :P

Hello there,

as you can see the main problem is that being a high-end guild we do have some expectations even from potential members. At no point the application was considered spam, but we where trying to asses your commitment.
Regarding gear, you have to realise that if you lack points in certain gear brackets you're totally useless to us; enchants, there are at least 3 wich I care about, when it comes to new members and you had 0.

In order to not repeat parts of the replies you allready have:
- no naxx atunment when making an application to a naxx-raiding guild;
- no second trinket? (for real?);
- rerolling classes (rogue->mage) a common problem is the difference betwen play-stiles, so are you confident enough on the mage?;
- because of the point above please reply with a link to your spec as well.

To give you my views on a few of the points raised;

1. Pick a class and stick to it / Are you confident switching classes.
I have played WoW for near enough 9 years and I personally feel that WoW is a game whereby if you understand the mechanics behind it you can play any class at a high level. I feel that I have been able to prove this view through playing private servers and retail for a considerable amount of time playing every class at a high level. Whilst I completely understand the view that you should pick a class you really enjoy, WoW for me is no longer about enjoy a particular class. It is about the social interaction between the players. Whilst I feel like some of you might be hesitant to invite someone who does not enjoy a specific part of the game, and I can see why, please try and understand that it really isn't about the classes for me anymore.

2. Questions about my gear / lack thereof.
I completely agree that the the most efficient way you can differentiate between players who apply to your guild is through their gear. However I believe that gear is a demonstration of progress not of skill, I believe that given enough time everyone can get the highest level of gear. I completely understand that you do not know me and therefore judging my skill is a near impossible task. I completely agree that I am completely useless to you at the moment but I honestly believe that I would be a very considerable addition to your raid team given the opportunity.

3. My views on my application.
I have never applied to a guild on Feenix where I have not had a friend to vouch for my abilities, and even then I have only applied for 1 guild. Whilst I have been perhaps naive in thinking that you would accept an application like mine, this for me really is an exploratory attempt at an application to see whether or not this kind of application would be accepted. Whilst I understand some people may be upset by this, this application is an attempt to obtain the most efficient progression for myself, if rejected I would not be upset in any way but I feel I have to try. I completely understand that by accepting me you would be taking a greater risk than myself.
