About You

• Who are you?
One of the hardest questions of life; Who am I?
My name is Matthijs, and I was born in a cold, wet country, called Holland, 19 years ago.
My passion is music, but my addiction has been wow for several years now. At this moment I'm in my last year of my in dutch called Atheneum. For English there is no real word for it, but I'd rather describe it as pre-university college.
I used to play wow on a WOTLK private server, but I prefere vanilla wow.

I'm a quiet person, but always in for a joke. I'm a well listener, who preferes maturity from his raidmembers

• Where are you from?

I'm from Holland.

• How old are you?

I turned 19 two months ago.

• What are your usual playing hours?

I've had a medical surgery a few weeks ago, so at this moment those are very irregular.
But in a few weeks my playing hours will mostly be from 15:00-17:00 and 18:00-23:30.
Weekends are different, like from 15:00 - 20:00 or something like that.

Character Details

• Character Name
Suramon

• Character Class
Hunter

• Character Talent Spec
At this moment Markmanship 2/31/18

• Gear

Dragonstalker's Helm
Fury of the Forgotten Swarm
Bloodsoul Shoulders
Zulian Tigerhide Cloak
Giantstalker's Breastplate
Wristguard of True Flight
Bloodsoul Gauntlets
Ossirian's Binding
Dragonstalker's Legguards
Beaststalker's Boots
Magni's Will (will be changed in Band of Jin on sunday)
Seal of Jin
Royal Seal of Eldre'Thalas
Blackhand's Breadth

Lok'delar, Stave of the Ancient Keepers
Fahrad's Reloading Repeater

• What professions have you selected for this character and why?

At this moment I have Herbelism and Alchemy. I chose those professions to make gold, but yet I do not have the recipes for flasks, because most of the time I'm raiding for gear, or helping guildies. I have both professions on level 300, but I don't use them that much.

Communication

• Can you speak and understand English to a good level?
My english level should be B2.

• Can you use TeamSpeak and are you able to speak when required?
I do have a mic, but I use it for Skype. I've never used TeamSpeak before, but I'll figure that out.

Raid Details

• Are you comfortable with loot council?

For now it sounds like a fair system. I don't know how it works in practice, but I don't bother missing items at first because I'm new. I think it's fair the people who are most dedicated to the guild have first roll.

• Mc / Bwl / Naxx pre-quests?
Both MC and BWL pre-quests done. Didn't do Naxx q yet.

• Previous raiding experience and details.

I've done MC twice, and ofcourse a lot of ZGs and AQs
I've also killed the Lich King but not on this server, so that doesn't count.

• Raid attendence - You know the raid times and the raid days. Do you have any problem making these?
Not at all. That's why I want to join this guild in the first place!

- Are you an adult in control of your own playtime or is it dictated for you? Will anything cause you to quit early/afk/cancel the pre-organised event at a moments notice with 39 other people from all over the world who put time aside to spend it with you?

I have control of my own playtime. I wont quit early at all, as long as the raiding times are definite. I'm aware I'm with 39 other people, and not with 39 random objects who are there to entertain me.

• Are you comfortable with the fact that you may not always have a raid spot?
Yes I am when I'm just too late and the party is full. I am not in case I already got my spot, and get kicked at the last moment.

• Are you willing to download/use all the necessary addons that are requied to raid with us?
Ofcourse I am! As long you guys tell me which one :P

Final Exit

• What were your former guilds and why did you leave them?
The Dedicated Few is my current guild. I really like this guild, but since I am done raiding ZG and AQ20, I think it's time to get a better raiding guild.

• What would you bring to Final Exit as a guild?
In my current guild I try to help as much as I can, and try to have fun, even with the people I don't like immediatly.
I can not offer Final Exit the best hunter you've ever seen, because I am not that hunter. I just want to make friends, with whom I'll spend a lot of spare time playing wow.

• What would you expect from Final Exit as a guild?
I expect a guild in which I can find the help to grow as a player, in both skills and gear. I also expect to meet people my age or older, to have fun with, and laugh with wherever and whenever.

As a new guy with a low gear level, you will always be the first one who will have to pass his spot to a more geared/experienced and higher ranked player.

A very honest answer, i like it.

Not sure if we are what you are looking for ;)

All in all, you seem to be a nice guy with a good attitude towards the game. not very experienced, but experience doesn't grow on trees, i had only played wotlk and cataclysm when i started here, too. gear level is a relatively okay i guess, MC quest bow would be a nice upgrade to go for next.

+1 from me :)

Hey sura, nice to see your application after we spoke ingame.
I like the apply, gear seems ok for a start.
Elsewise, taliesin already had some nice points.
Please wait for our hunter classleader daihachiro for a response.

Well. I have played retail vanilla, but I was 11 back then. Took me over 2 years to level a pally to level 60 :P

Times change, and (most) people grow up!

I'm on the quest for the MC quest bow. I just haven't been blessed that much to get the sinew from Onyxia, but I've got the "3 sticks, taped together"-stave, and the quiver, so the bow is just a matter of time..

Thanks for ur responce! Looking forward to quit sleeping, fail my exams, and go raiding, side by side with u guys!!

Little addition:

I replaced my Beaststalker's Boots for Bloodstained Greaves and
Magni's Will for Band of Jin

Not a lot of change, but now I have all items from ZG and AQ20, except for the idols.
