Yep that also adds up alot. Also getting 2550-135= 2415 damage per inevitable doom because of dampen magic (with magic attunement specced).
Could even put up pally aura's if they aren't already.
Using following formula:
Quote
Average Resistance = (Target's Resistance / (Caster's Level * 5)) * 0.75
We can calculate the average percentage of damage that is 'absorbed' by your own spell resistance.
Maximum is 75%, which is also the outcome if you fill in 315 resistance :)
we have:
Gift of the wild: 20, Prayer of Shadow Protection: 60, Gift of Arthas: 10, magic resistance potion: 50, Mage armor/Demon armor (mages/locks): 15
Tier 2 belt/gloves/head (expected 1-2 per player worn at 10SR each): 15 (average on raid)
Means a total of ~160 per player. Average of 38% damage resisted.
(1-0.38)*2415 = 1495 damage per doom.
1 potion covers 1950-3250 damage so a lot would go to waste.
I will be using magic resistance potions again on future tries because i really like this concept, and it might keep me up for 15 sec more after the 5 min mark.
(I love this theorycrafting :P)

btw, does power word shield trigger the healing debuff?
