• What professions have you selected for this character and why?
Minoas- Ive selected Blacksmith and Mining, those are the professions I've always gone for in the past 6 years and find it the most useful for crafting sets that are useful for a warrior.
Leafwhisper - Skinnin/herbalism, the bread and butter of support professions for cash flow
Zelii- Herbalism and Alchemy are the best represented professions in Vanilla due to their raid utility, so the need of a flask maker cannot be neglected in high progression
Communication
• Can you speak and understand English to a good level?
We all possess good skills in english, wether it is for listening or speaking
• Can you use TeamSpeak and are you able to speak when required?
Without Fault, Being quiet and listening avidly is a very important part of progression raiding and more generally a rule to the cohesion of 40 man raiding
Raid Details
• Are you comfortable with loot council?
We are all confortable with loot council, provided It is within experienced and non biased hands. We belive more can be achieved in terms of avoiding problems that other loot systems cannot solve
• Mc / Bwl pre-quests?
All the attunements have already been completed since we've been actively raiding those for the past month
• Previous raiding experience and details.
Now this might annoy you a bit, So If you're dreary don't fall into it too much. Minoas's personal vanilla experience is a very thourough farm status of the endgame encounters back in the days that lasted from the release of the content in question, up to the day TBC hit the shelves. He was one of the lucky few to participate in the first Arathi-EU Naxxramas encounters for the Alliance back in 2006.
Maintanking in the guild from Late BWL, up to Sapphiron the frost wyrm itself for several months. Weilder of Thunderfury that cost him a bizzilion gold to obtain. Zelii has extensive experience throughout all the raids up to Ouro in AQ, his naxx experience was achieved in TBC with the kills of the first bosses in The Arachnid and Military quarter. As for Leafwhisper his experience includes everything up to The Twins in AQ, his naxx experience was also achieved in late TBC.
Our core has extensively farmed TBC content from the world of emulation we are from and also on retail. We all of us share the common fate of stopping the madness at patch 2.8 back in november 2008. Equally in top guilds fighting for the lead at that time
After numerous disappointements in the 2.4.3 blizzlike emulation and over a year of having to restart from scratch litteraly 6 times,1 of which in the feenix archangel fiasco. we thought we'd go back to the roots of what WoW is about and get a glimpse of what we had seem to have left behind, the most beautifully and unholy instance that was ever designed, the Citadel :)
• Raid attendence - You know the raid times and the raid days. Do you have any problem making these?
Whatever the guild raiding times are, we will comply and as in our true habits we will be present way before the invites start. If we were to have any problems making it, we would contact the officer in charge well in advance to inform him of the motivations and time we would eventually be back.
- Are you an adult in control of your own playtime or is it dictated for you? Will anything cause you to quit early/afk/cancel the pre-organised event at a moments notice with 39 other people from all over the world who put time aside to spend it with you?
Those are the hours we dedicate to wow, nothing will stop us or cause us to have any irregularity as that would be insulting and disrespectful. All three of us are in control of the time we have at our disposal. In other words we're not 12 years olds no no.
• Are you comfortable with the fact that you may not always have a raid spot?
More than happy to contribute to the raid dynamics even if it requires us to pass a slot for more effective raid capacity usage.
• Are you willing to download/use all the necessary addons that are requied to raid with us?
Goes without question that the whole panoply of addons have to be downloaded, otherwise we'd be playing gimped
Final Exit
• What were your former guilds and why did you leave them?
As a guild leader for over a year in a prominent guild of the 2.4.3 emulation world , I've carried on the legacy of on each server we've been to. Coming to warsong without knowing anyone and being aware of the soon Naxx release we formed which was a consortium of extremely skilled players, Within a month we managed to clear BWL from scratch. Unfortunately the splitting voices and dissensions made it impossible to continue in this fast progressing creation of ours. Its with grief we leave this guild to which we owe the retrieval of some of that vanilla spirit and will certainly never forget anyone. But being within the administration of guilds for that long takes a part of actually playing the game in some way. And we feel it's best suited for us to utilise our talent in concentrating on the most rudimentary functions of a raider!
• What would you bring to Final Exit as a guild?
Our aim is to bring quality and high standards to an already established guild in need of experienced and raidthirsty players. Each one of us posseses his particular skills that we would love to share with a serious, yet close guild that we feel fit for the purpose of enjoying vanilla within this very mature community of highly experienced raiders.
• What would you expect from Final Exit as a guild?
We ask what we can do for the guild rather than what it can provide us. Our goal is to contribute to the effort that Final Exit has set for itself, we feel that we can represent the spirit and focus of this guild. In other words the shiny stuff is part of the process, not the finality or goal for us.
As a conclusion we'd love you to take this Application in consideration seriously, we know you're picky. But we're picky too, we chose Final exit because to us it embodies what we're looking for in a raid environnement, and moreover in a community that well share very pleasent moments and that we'll support and represent with all our might.
