Cute Gnome LF new home! (Warlock application)

Okay guys, here's what I've been working on the past X
hours. I appreciate if you take your time to read through
all of it. The application will take some unexpected turns
but in the end, I hope you'll like it. Keep in mind that
I started the character only 11 days ago so there's still a
couple of things to work on. HAPPY READING!

About Me!

• Who are you?
I'm a hardcore player who enjoys this game to the limit!
I've been raiding on retail servers in a world top #20 guild
from the release of TBC until Cataclysm.

• Where are you from?

I'm from a nice little city in Sweden called Vänersborg. But at
the moment I live in Linköping together with my girlfriend. I
study on Linköping University towards becoming a qualified
Engineer in the field of computer science.

• How old are you?

I am currently at the age of 21. That reminds me of that I've
been playing wow for far to long, started playing at the time
BWL was released on retail but never got past AQ40 during vanilla
which is part of the reason I want to reexperiance the good old
40-man raids. But more about that later!

• What are your usual playing hours?

I think this is the hardest question for me to answer in this
application form. I'd estimate that, over a month, my average
playtime per day is about 4 hours per day. But there's no real
pattern in when I play, it all depends on my tasks I get from
the university. Therefor, it'll be periods when I play lots,
and other periods when I play alot less.

• Character Details * RP-version *

I play a neat little warlock named Bea, she's a blond little gnome
with blue eyes and medium-sized silver earrings. Bea was born and
raised at September 16th 2011. She's currently single and does not
intend to jump into any serious relationship at this point but
she's very willing to experiment with all kinds of crazy stuff.
I'd also want to point out that I don't look at her as a whore,
even though she does sell sex some times... oh well think we've
got a bit of topic there.

To get back on track, Bea has always been a fan of dark magic, she
currently plays around with scary bolts of shadow the way it's
suppose to be done(!) (SM/ruin) but alternative spec is fine with her
as well if that's required by her fellow raiders.

Slaying evil creatures in dungeons and in the open world for their
loot is something Bea has been doing on a daily basis for the last
10 days. Stealing the loot and distribute it in a good way to sell
chunks of in on the Auction House has resulted in good economy.
She has already bought full bloodvine set, the lost Kris of zed
the felheart bracers, epic mount and other cool stuff. She also
got some decent gear on her journeys through the dungeons, pretty
much best in slot preraid apart from Drakki's turban and Baron's
wand. (also missing deathmist gloves).

• Character Details * Quick-version * (will try to keep it short)

• Character Name

Bea

• Character Class

Warlock

• Character Talent Spec

SM/ruin (but respeccing is not a problem if someone improves the
"best" spec since vanilla)

• Gear

For example: Bloodvine set, Lost Kris of Zed, Briarwood Reed,
Eye of the Beast, Tome of Shadow Force, Burial Shawl, Felhart Bracers.
I'm still missing Spellweaver's Turban, Ritssyn's Wand of Bad Mojo,
Deathmist gloves but I finally got my hands on dreadmist ones after 13
scholo runs so they shouldn't be far away.
Might also replace Dark Advisor's Pendant with Diana's for some more hit.
But can't expect to get everything perfect in just 10 days, give
me another 5-7 days and I'll have the perfect preraid equipment.
I also always getting the best enchants on every piece of gear that
I'm not likely to replace in the next 2 days.

• What professions have you selected for this character and why?

I've chosen tailoring for the bloodvine-gear's set bonus and
a moneymaker crafting mooncloth. My second profession is herbalism
but it's kind of a placeholder till I decide what to get instead.
I'm currently leaning towards getting Engineering for cool pvp-eq
or Enchanting. Something worth to mention is that I’ve also
leveled up a druid 6 days ago which is a herbalist as well but also
an alchemist. He knows how to craft the most important stuff for my
raiding (ex. flask of sup. power, greater arcane elixir, elixir
of shadow power, and a couple others).

Communication

• Can you speak and understand English to a good level?

I use English in my everyday life and even though my spelling isn't
100%, I'd say I understand English perfectly well.

• Can you use TeamSpeak and are you able to speak when required?

To be honest, never used TeamSpeak before since my previous
guild/friends always been using ventrilo but I've got it on my
computer and I seriously doubt I'll have any problem what so ever
with it :).

Raid Details

• Are you comfortable with loot council?

I've always felt like a serious loot-council is the best way to
handle the drops. I would also like to mention that I don’t play
the game for the epics, I play to have a good time with cool
people and if that is something you can offer, loot doesn’t really
matter.

• Mc / Bwl pre-quests?

They're both done. I've also done quite a bit of onyx pre-quest
before someone told me that it wasn’t necessary on this server.
(Not even doable?)

• Previous raiding experience and details.

I started playing World of Warcraft just before BWL was released
on retail realms, back then, I was a newbie on online gaming but
I learned fast and even though I enjoyed PVP the most I still managed
to get into a decent guild and down a couple of bosses in AQ40
before TBC was released. I've later completed all vanilla content
on level 70.

But, in TBC, my real peak-time began. I joined up with a top guild
on Talnivarr EU and together with them, I've been participating in
all serverfirst kills ever since. Server first might not sound that
awesome but they were often on world top #20. Ex. world #4 twins
kill in sunwell, world first level 25 guild in cata etc.

While I've been contributing a lot to achieve these kind of things
on a guild level, I've also been working hard on character level to
achieve better performance among other things. If there is a way to
get 3 more spelldamage, it doesn’t really matter if it'll take me
20 hours or more to get. Other personal achievements worth noting
is my serverfirst level 80 (both class and race) and server second
level 85. I also have a couple of duelist titles and one gladiator.

• Raid attendance

I think it sounded quite good so far, but this is where the bad part
starts. Studying on the university is unfortunately not a 9 to 5 job,
which basically means that I some days don't need to go there at
all while other days are filled from 8am till 9pm.(Swe-time=server-time)
Of course I decide my own play-times but I have to put my studies
first at all times. Most of the time, that won't be a problem but
I want to state that very clear in my application that I, even though
I would like to, CAN NOT ATTEND 100%.

With that said, I know my chances of being accepted just fell and
that's why I'm not applying for a core-raid-spot. Instead, I'm hoping
to become an "inmate" who helps out in every way that I can, WHEN I
can. I.e., joins the raids when I'm available and when you need me
without really expecting any loot but I'll still show up with
consumables and a positive attitude. Hell, I don't even mind if I
get the rank Bitch of Final Exit. I'm very open for discussion on
this part, feel free to ask me anything.

• Are you comfortable with the fact that you may not always have a raid spot?

Short answer: Very. Even though I LOVE raiding especially in a serious
environment I always put the guilds interest in front of my own.

• Guild addons

I can't really find a reason not to use those addons. I use several
addons all the time which enhance my gameplay so if I can help the
guild in any way by using these addons, it's kind of a no-brainer.

Final Exit

• What were your former guilds and why did you leave them?

As I mentioned before, I've played on a VERY serious level for a long
time from TBC till cataclysm. I played in the same guild, called
Cráb People on EU-talnivarr, for several year and since they had
the same hardcore spirit as me, I never felt any reason to leave
them.

• What would you bring to Final Exit as a guild?

I'm an hardcore player who does anything to perform the very best,
but I'm also a team player who doesn’t need to think twice before
helping another guildie out with pretty much anything. I bring
my 2 cents of humor, a bag full of soul shards and creative thinking
whenever it's needed. I'm always ready with consumables of all
kinds to maximize my performance in a raid.

• What would you expect from Final Exit as a guild?

My main intentions when applying for Final Exit is not raiding,
this might of course seem strange when applying to a raiding guild
my current circumstances won't allow me to promise the 100%
attendance I once had.
Instead, I'm looking for a friendly environment with skilled players
who doesn’t ask for "Might on group 2", "Decurse us you retarded
priest" or asks the warlock for water. I feel like I have a great
knowledge of the game and I would like to hang around with similar
people with similar thinking. BUT I will join as many raids as I
can when you want/need me.

• Why you should accept me?

I am a truly dedicated player with high ambitions to perform the
very best at all times. I have a rock-solid internet and a above
average computer that so far, has not let me down. I will be
around when there's no raids to help out people with anything and
when I'm in a raid, I'm 100% focused and willing to sacrifice
anything for the good of the guild. I always show up well prepared
with all kinds of consumables that I can think of.

• Why you shouldn't accept me?

I feel like honesty is the best way to build a great relationship
between the player and the guild and I'm going to be honest with
you at all times. I will NOT have 100% attendance, at periods
perhaps far from it. I currently preform very well at the
university and my plans is to keep it that way, therefor, WoW
will always come in second place.

All feedback/discussions are welcome!

Kind regards
Bea

Awesome application, one of the best I've seen! When u say that u can attend 100%, does that mean u can attend one raid a wekk? 2 raids a week? Is it based on weekly attendance or monthly? As there are very few of the raiders that have a 100% raid attendance.

You have done very well in the 10 days you've been playing, and u seem to know how to gear ur character. We are in need of warlocks, so lets see what my fellow officers have to say.

A big + from me!

Hey Bea,
i have to say its the best and coolest apply so far. Well done!
I thought the same as dhimmu, tell me more about your attendance - just a bit clearer.
Your gear is mostly BIS preraid with enchants, so a big + from me. Spellhit% is always important, because nobody likes when your spells resist.

I try to catch you ingame and talk a bit with you.

Greetz so far

That is a very good question Dhimmu.
From my current point of view, 2 raids/week seems doable as a monthly average.

I guess we'll have to find out about that. It's the best answer I can give at this point
since I havn't been hardcore raiding for more then half a year (but I'm missing it!).

Just asked a friend who played on Talnivarr in decimation pre-tbc if he heard of your guild and his reply "omg Cráb People premade /afk"

xD

Really nice app, only down points are your gear and activity; we can gear you up if u can make most of the raids, sundays is the worst as we only ever have one lock online for that xd Looks good though

Everyday another idiot trying to corrupt ppls mind by saying Retf*ckheaddin is viable DPS in raids makes me mad.
SOMAD.
My advise for all the Retpaladins out here: Log out, deinstall your vanilla World of Warcraft and go play Hello Kitty Island.
