Character Details

Character Name: Nert

Character Class: Mage

Character Talent Spec : Frost/ Fire depending on raid.

This is what i would use for mc/ bwl: http://www.wowprovider.com/?talent=11215...1531r535d30013f and winter's chill spec http://www.wowprovider.com/?talent=11215...u535d3122301050 could also take ice barrier for better survivability.

This is what i would use for aq40 : http://www.wowprovider.com/?talent=11215...20023033051003o for max single target dps.

Chest: http://database.wow-one.com/?item=19682 for frost and http://database.wow-one.com/?item=21499 for fire, i chose second for fire because 1% crit is worth more then 20 spell dmg according to theorycraft and it also has a nice amount of stamina which is very nice.
Bracers: http://database.wow-one.com/?item=22063 enchanted with 7 intelect
Gloves: http://database.wow-one.com/?item=13253 enchanted with 20 frost spell dmg, the next pair of gloves i`m going to get its gonna be enchanted with 20 fire spell dmg since we need 2 pairs of gloves to change around depending on spec.
Belt: http://database.wow-one.com/?item=22716

What professions have you selected for this character and why? My professions are Tailoring and Herbalism. I chose tailoring mainly because of the bloodvine set bonus that gives me a good advantage for starting out its pretty much the only profession that can have an impact on your dps. Herbalism, obviously for farming out herbs for my pots flasks, don`t feel like paying insane prices to buy from ah i prefer to make my own stuff .

Communication

Can you speak and understand English to a good level? I can understand english very well speaking not so much i prefer to type lets say :D

Can you use TeamSpeak and are you able to speak when required? Yes i can use Teamspeak and right now i cannot speak because i don`t have a mic if its really necessary i`ll buy one and try to speak out my bad english speaking skills :(

Raid Details

Are you comfortable with loot council? I couldn't agree more, I like the way you view loot as. Many people don`t understand that loot should first come as a tool to help you and the guild and come as a reward second, that`s why a lot of people get greedy and cry over loot.

Mc / Bwl pre-quests? I have both of them done.
Previous raiding experience and details.

Raid attendence - You know the raid times and the raid days. Do you have any problem making these?
- Are you an adult in control of your own playtime or is it dictated for you? Will anything cause you to quit early/afk/cancel the pre-organised event at a moments notice with 39 other people from all over the world who put time aside to spend it with you? Yes I can make it to all of them ofcourse i can`t guarantee that i will be there 100% because of RL issues but lets say that 90% of the times i`ll be there. Yes i am an adult and i am in control of my playing, hell if we must fight for c'thun server first i can stay up the whole night and raid till the sun comes at my window! I understand the concept of a raid and that everytime you come unprepared you afk you whine you etc etc , you are just wasting 39 other peoples time, this is something i do not like and i try to avoid it as much as possible.

Are you comfortable with the fact that you may not always have a raid spot? Yes, guild progression and older members should have priority over a trial , fine with me.

Are you willing to download/use all the necessary addons that are requied to raid with us? Yes i do, i don`t want to slow you guys down and if those addons are something that could be new and useful to me at all then cheers!

Final Exit

What were your former guilds and why did you leave them? My former guild was <two dollar horde> the reason i left, well i didn't really left was kicked because of inactivity i was incative for about 3 weeks because of pc hardware failure, my motherboard let me down and at the time i didn`t have the money to allmost buy another pc so i couldn`t play for 3 weeks and i was kicked.

What would you bring to Final Exit as a guild? I can bring a very experienced and dedicated raider that is always willing to learn and strive to become better and of couse a friendly and open minded guy willing to help guildies aswell and lets not forget my awesome deeps! Rolling ignites KGO.

What would you expect from Final Exit as a guild? I would expect a friendly and serious raiding atmosphere while raiding and of course the will to raid and be the best guild on the server :) competition it`s what makes everyone strive to become better and thats not just wow!

Hope to hear from ya guys soon! Cheers!

Also i forgot to mention my raid experience so here i go, on Retail o managed to get up to 1/9 in aq40 and 6/8 in bwl, mc was cleared as well as aq20 and zg. However on feenix i managed to clear everything up to Huhuran in aq40 with Two Dollar horde, not including viscidus, this includes bwl, zg and aq20 and ofcourse mc. I hope this clears it all out.

ur gear is not that bad and u bring experience
did u tell ur guild when u couldnt come on for 3 weeks?
P.S. the bloodvine chest is in any case alot better for both specs than the aq20 one, cause even 1% hit is better than 1% crit and the extra spelldmg; so u would have 1% extra hit and 2% crit from the setbonus
dunno where u got the 20spelldmg for 1% crit, but im pretty sure its wrong for ur gear

should get a chance in a testraid in my opinion

Everyday another idiot trying to corrupt ppls mind by saying Retf*ckheaddin is viable DPS in raids makes me mad.

My advise for all the Retpaladins out here: Log out, deinstall your vanilla World of Warcraft and go play Hello Kitty Island.

Hey mate..
I like you app.. And if you are indeed competetive as you say you are, then you are exacly the kind of mage that i would love to have on the mage team. Being competetive is what makes us all strive to be prepared and perform to our absolute fullest :D

Gear isnt bad, but i do also agree with what Fio points out about the bloodvine vest. :D Hit is the most beneficial stat that you can go for as long as you are not capped ^^
Experience is good.. :D Only 3 bosses short of full feenix experience. You are aware of the specs you need and you enchant ur gear properly. :D

If you have the time mate, i would like to invite you for a testraid on sunday at 6.45. I will let you know a bit beforehand, which raid we are going to do, as it is not completely decided yet.

Cheers
/Bri

Sorry crotch i did not expect you to remember about me after all this time <3.

About the bloodvine and 1% crit and 1% hit i got those data from the theorycraft addon with flask up scorch stacked to max and rolling ignites. I`m not sure tho that this is 100% acurate, hope testing and time will tell , but in tbc and so on hit is the most valuable stat to get till cap, so this might tell something about vanilla aswell and not forget that rolling ignites where a part of tbc aswell.

Thanks Brianator i`ll try to contact you ingame this evening, cheers!

I wont be on this evening unfortunately.. Im going to a family birthday tonight.. But ill grab a hold of you tomorrow :D

And regarding the hit vs Crit :D Fio and Myself actually did q few calculations on it just theo ther day. :P
The reason hit was >>> crit in TBC and onwards was because the hit rating required for 1% hit was alot lower than crit rating required for 1% crit :D Thats why in TBC and WoTLK we saw hit with a value almost 2.5times the value of crit. In vanilla this value is about 1.3-1.4. So still alot better, but not as much as in later expansions ^^

(That was just in case you are curious about the numbers) :P

But yea.. Ill grab a hold of you tomorrow :D

I see, never put it this way , makes sense now. This means that bloodvine set is bis till naxx gear, i`f i`m correct i don`t remember any gear combination that could outdps the set if you are a tailor, tho i may be wrong.
