My name is Marek (our version of name Mark), my personal nickname is Hever (it was created by my friends on Highschool and i got used to it), iam 23 years old and i live in Czech Republic, little country in the middle of europe (sometimes also called as the Heart of europe). Iam a Gamer, i play lot, investing nearly all my free time into gaming. I also like to assemble and paint Warhammer miniatures from time to time when i have the creative mood. I work in the insolvency office every day so iam able to play from 16:30PM GMT+1 to 02:00 AM GMT+1 (02:00am is max that i can offer to sacrifice my sleep hours for the raid.).

I have selected Herbalism and Alchemy with intention to make some money by selling herbs and to be able to farm up materials for flasks needed for raiding.


Communication

• Can you speak and understand English to a good level?
• Can you use TeamSpeak and are you able to speak when required?

I understand written and spoken english very well (thanks to years of gaming, which quite frankly made me learn english more effectively than school did). I can speak and listen on TS3 i have headphones with microphone, while speaking is a bit more difficult than writing for me but i can manage. I even own a TS3 server (well i physically dont own the server but the admin rights) so in case of emergency i can quickly create channels with password for guild use.




Raid Details


• Are you comfortable with loot council?
Iam comfortable with any loot distribution system. Though i have bad experience with loot council on this server because we had Razbivam in guild (before we kicked his ass out), he was officer and when we used loot council it was more like gearing up his friends than guild. And you cant talk sense to a person who doesnt even understand what are you saying .... Loot council only work when officers are people with brain and sense for justice and are able to make the right and fair decision. But according to what i have read here, you know exactly how LC should work :)

• Mc / Bwl / Naxx pre-quests?
MC and BWL preq done. NAXX in progress (missing golds and a bit of rep.)

• Previous raiding experience and details.
this one will be a bit longer :)

Vanilla related part:
Since iam quite new on feenix server my experience here is: with my rogue i did full MC and full BWL, Onyxia and 3/9 AQ40, with warrior i tanked ZG, AQ20, full MC and onyxia. But my lifetime WoW experience is far greater than that. I started playing wow about 9 years ago (yes from the very begining). Back then we progressed one boss in MC for many days untill we have slain him and when ragnaross fell dead ... well lets say there were 5minute long explosion of adrenaline, happiness and acomplishment on teamspeak, those moments were priceless. I kinda wanted to refresh those memories here :) and also to complete naxx in vanilla because we were able to clear only spooderwing + few other bosses before TBC came out (so soon after nax release :( ). So on retail i managed to do full MC,BWL 8/9AQ40 and about 6/15 naxx as a rogue.
Post-Vanilla related part:
In the TBC i killed everything (TK, magtheridon, GL, SSC, BT, SWP, including the hard ones : Kaelthas, Illidan, Killjaeden also with rogue. Then Wotlk came out and i rolled warrior and maintanked whole tbc also cleared every possible content on normal mode + few bawses on heroic (LK on heroic is possibly the most challenging fight that wow have ever had.). Cataclysm... well i didnt want to go that far but friends forced me into it :D so i maintanked full Cata content aswell. Pandas are a total disaster.

Imho: WoW was at its peak quality in TBC which have fixed the flaws of Vanilla ... then it went downhill.


• Raid attendence - You know the raid times and the raid days. Do you have any problem making these?
- Are you an adult in control of your own playtime or is it dictated for you? Will anything cause you to quit early/afk/cancel the pre-organised event at a moments notice with 39 other people from all over the world who put time aside to spend it with you?

I am able to attend every raid. Iam my own master, i live alone (well with roommate but its my appartment) only thing that can stop me from playing is: electricity or internet plackout, zombie apocalypse, meteorit or any other cataclysmic event :)

• Are you comfortable with the fact that you may not always have a raid spot?
Ofcourse, as a former Class-leader iam very well aware of this issue i have no problems to remain on standby. (atleast i will have time for my new Tomb Rider game on PS3 ... its so awesome...)

• Are you willing to download/use all the necessary addons that are requied to raid with us?
Absolutely no problem here (aslong as it isnt viruses, hacks or any other evil stuff)


Final Exit

• What were your former guilds and why did you leave them?
Methanol, Silverwing Sentinels and The Infamous. Methanol was just a group of my friends who brought me here ... the old core of our vanilla guild, basically nostalgia led us here :) then we met a guy named Anaron... hes really awesome man, so we joined him in his guild silverwing sentinels in order to raid because Methanol had rly low membercount. At first it was ok but then people started to slack ... suddenly we couldnt raid anymore because, one does not simply clear BWL with 30 and less ppl (we managed to kill Vael in 34 tho). So the decision was made that the active ppl will leave and we will merge with Razbivam and his friends (srsly... worst decision in my wowlife). What happend then ... is a long and sad story i dont want to talk about it so ill just skip to where it lead. So we kicked Razbivam out of the guild (we could get him even banned for what he did to us in the BWL but sadly we did not took screenshot.) and ofcourse his friends followed and left and we were back in SwS situation untill now. Noone wants a rogue so thats why i rerolled to warrior and iam now looking for guild which is able to fulfill my goal: Kelthuzads head on my plate.

• What would you bring to Final Exit as a guild?
Skilled and ungeared player :D I dare to say that my WoW experience in PVE (iam not good at pvp, for PvP i have other games mainly Moba games liek dota.) is on the highest lvl (ofc iam not the best but i have seen alot.), so i would mainly bring that. I almost never fail at boss mechanics (almost) and when i do... i do not repeat it (i will have to refresh strategies at fight i was not here on feenix tho, 9years is alot and i have forgotten some of the tactics for sure). Iam friendly and i love fun and good jokes

• What would you expect from Final Exit as a guild?
Well mainly i expect raiding stability, that on every raid day the raid WILL happen, that people will come for the raid. Also i expect friendly and helpful guild, strong leadership, lot of fun in game and maturity.

nah, joking. this is one of the best applications i have ever had the good fortune to read.
your tank is pretty useless though for the content we raid at them moment, even if the gear is quite impressive for a 2 week old char: aq rushes for C'Thun, Naxx farm and 4HM progress. BWL is only fit in here and there if we do not have the setup for 4HM and have cleared everything else, so we cannot guarantee to boost your gear, even if we wanted to do so. this means you would have to push him to a pre BWL best in slot level of gear at least.
i don't know how the situation is atm with our rogue roster, but is there any chance you might give us an glimpse at your rogue's gear, just in case it might suit us better? if you would be willing to play him at all, that is.

GL with your application, i really liked it.

P.S.: Razbivam... now, where to even fucking start with Razbivam? long story short: he was in FE. he was not at all comfortable with passing his raidspot when he was required to. he was a terrible tank, no way to give him a difficult task(*inb4wipeatgluth*), and worse: he was a loot whore like i have never seen one before.

Hey Marek.

I really enjoyed to read your application. It's not the usual boring just down written shit.
Even if you put a lot of effort on it I must say: You lack a lot on your gear even if it's already better than pre raid BiS stuff. You need better gear for tanking AQ40 or even Naxx and as far as I know (I'm not into the current situation since I'm inactive) we go for BWL very rare.
I'd advice you to join some MC or even BWL pugs to improve your gear. It shouldn't be hard to find those pugs or to get a spot with your current gear.
Also I'm not informed about our present tank situation and I don't know if we need some at the moment.

Well my rogue gear is better, i applied with my tank because i saw spam in world chat that you are looking for tanks and assumed that you wouldnt want a rogue. I like both of the characters and i could play any of them.

With my rogue i have even some of the NR gear ready (about 150 unbuff maybe more cant remember now because iam in work atm) and i was in AQ40 already.

The gear isnt best and would use few upgrades from BWL but its ready for AQ40 methinks.

Hey Marek, Thank You for applying to Final Exit.
I really enjoyed reading ur Application, its one of few good Tank Applys that I saw in last months.
There are still some stuff that u shoud fix:
1.) Get Icebane Bracers(in EPL at LHC u need some mats for it I don't remember what but its not really expencive)+ Ench it with +9Stam.
2.) Get Stamina Ench on Deathbone Sabatons instead of Agi its alot better.
3.) Get 1 Dodge Ench on Overlord's Embrace.
4.) Get ZG Exalted to get +30AP on ur Sholders.
5.) Get Naxx Attunament.
6.) Get +15Agi Ench on ur Gloves.

I am still for giving u Social Spot in Guild till ur Gear gets better. FInal Decision u will get from our Warrior CLs Kraljica and Eiwin.

Okay, thx for feedback about flaws iny my gear. I will fix the enchants and naxx attu but the rep with ZG is gonna take a while, also do you really think icebane are so much better ? i mean you have to consider set bonus thats +8 all ressist, icebane have 97more armor but i loose 1sta 3str 5agi for gain of 2def 16Frost Res and 97 armor. It doesnt matter much i will still have to make them for frost ressist gear :) iam just asking curiously if its worht it for fights when you dont need frost Res.

And i will gladly take casual spot untill further gear improvements are made.

armor is a mighty important stat, maybe even the most important one, and def is nearly as important or even equal. those few agi points don't really matter right now (you can't gear for avoidance as long as you have trouble surviving a normal hit) and the stamina on both bracers is nearly the same, so yes, the icebane bracers are superior.
