About me

]• Who am I?
My name is Mikkel.

• Where are you from?
I am born and live in Denmark.

• How old are you?
18 years old.

• What are your usual playing hours?
17 - 00:00 (Later if my classes the next day are easy)

Character Details

• Character Name
Miba

• Character Class
Hunter

• Character Talent Spec
0/44/7

A deep MM build with added SV. I have tried to max out my damage output and dps. There are some flaws, this build is just a placeholder for what I had in mind. I am currently redoing some minor thing with my build, to make sure my damage output is as high as possible, and that it's entirely suited for PVE.

• Gear

I am new to the server, but I have full Dungeon Set 1, but I lack rings, trinkets and what else you don't get with the donation set. This is not good, this I am aware of, but I am working very hard to get proper gear. Currently I am aiming to get some trinkets out UBRS and LBRS so on. I use the Ice Barbed Spear ( http://www.wowhead.com/item=19106/ice-barbed-spear ) from the AV quest and the Gryphonwing Long Bow and my ranged weapon. ( http://www.wowhead.com/item=13022 ) I plan to change this bow out with the Eaglehorn Long Bow. ( http://www.wowhead.com/item=13023 )

• What professions have you selected for this character and why?

I have selected Mining and Engineering.

Mining:

I chose mining because it has always proved to be a part of so many of other professions and their recipes. A quick gateway to ores and precious stones is always something handy. I find mining to be a real asset to any guild.

Engineering:

Two words. Repair Bot. This is the sole reason I chose engineering on my old hunter back in the old days, and it's the reason I chose it some days ago now. I served as the guild's supplier of Repair Bots, and it was always a hit amongst any raider after two hours of wiping on Chromaggus. I intend to repeat the success, and take up this role again, so I will happily supply the guild with Repair Bots.

I am ready whenever my guild needs something of me and my professions, it would be a waste in any other case.

Communication

• Can you speak and understand English to a good level?

Yes I believe I can. I have studied the English language for about ten years now, and I still am. I study English at my "High School's" highest possible level, and score high grades in it. I cringe whenever I see leetspeak and the usual bad English on the servers, I value correct and proper English, and I strive to make my English look as good as I can.

• Can you use TeamSpeak and are you able to speak when required?

Of course, I like to sit on TeamSpeak outside raids as well as during raids, it's one of the things I find very nice about guilds.

Raid Details

• Are you comfortable with loot council?

Yes, this is what I am used to, and I find it to be way better than DKP.

• Mc / Bwl pre-quests?

I am currently doing these. I know where to get them, and how to complete them. They should be completed before this week is over.

• Previous raiding experience and details.

Back in the old days of retail World of Warcraft, I played with a guild named EightyFivePoundMightFish on the dreaded Stormreaver server.

We managed to do this:

- ZG - Farm status
- Onyxia's Lair - Farm Status
- Molten Core - Farm Status
- Blackwing Lair - Farm Status
- AQ20 - Farm Status
- First two bosses of AQ40

I served as the puller hunter during some of our raids, and I always made sure I understood the tactics and that I was prepared for the battle.
I can't stress enough how much I strive to do this, if there's anything I am unsure of, be it tactics or something related to the guild, I will research it and find out.

For most new bosses, I read up on their battle beforehand, and make sure to listen carefully to the raid leader's instructions and commands during the battle. I will always do my best and try avoid any mess up, and take every second of a battle in moderation.

• Raid attendence - You know the raid times and the raid days. Do you have any problem making these?

Yes, I have no problem making these.

- Are you an adult in control of your own playtime or is it dictated for you? Will anything cause you to quit early/afk/cancel the pre-organised event at a moments notice with 39 other people from all over the world who put time aside to spend it with you?

At any normal day, nothing should ever get in the way of the raid. I am an adult yes, and I control my playtime freely. The only thing that could make me cancel my attendance to a raid, or during a raid, is only major issues, such as a dead relative or something. I will treat raids as any other pre-organised event, and I would feel very bad about having to cancel it, as I would probably let down the people I made it with.

• Are you comfortable with the fact that you may not always have a raid spot?

Yes absolutely. Raiding with a guild is something we all have to share, and the fact that I may have to sit on the bench during some raids is fine by me, and I only see it as a healthy thing for a guild to do.

• Are you willing to download/use all the necessary addons that are requied to raid with us?

Yes very much. Name the addon and I will have it installed before the next raid.

Final Exit

• What were your former guilds and why did you leave them?

I played World of Warcraft a long time ago, at least for the raiding part. TBC and WOTLK raiding never caught me, and I quit really early, but Vanilla raiding is still as fascinating and interesting as it was years ago.

I cannot remember what guilds besides EightyFivePoundMightFish that I played with, but this guild disbanded because the guild leaders quit WoW.
I have never really left a guild before. I was fine with everything my old guild did, and the day it disbanded was truly a sad day.

The minor guilds I have played with, those I left because they only served as a shield against gnomes asking me to join their guild, so my membership with those guilds ended as casually as they began. This will not be the case with a serious guild like this, I would not leave for simple matters, that could otherwise be solved through some discussion or so.

• What would you bring to Final Exit as a guild?

A social, hard-working and good raider. I see guilds as a second family of a sort. I strive to make it all as enjoyable as possible, and just having a good time with the other guild members.

I will provide the guild with whatever my professions allows me to, whatever my class allows me to, and whatever I - myself - can that's for the better of the guild.

• What would you expect from Final Exit as a guild?

A guild with members that communicates and are sociable. Members that takes raiding seriously, but still play with a good mood, and don't forget to have a good time while raiding. I also expect the leaders to be fair and just when dealing out the loot, but as fellow guildmates, just that they enjoy themselves.

I expect ups and downs. Be it wipes or kills on new bosses. I like it all, wiping is all a part of the raiding experience, and seeing the hitpoint bar go down with an additional 1% each wipe is all fine by me, it's progression, and that's what counts, it means we're getting better.

Closing Comment

I know my situation right now is not the best ever, but I am ready to put effort into getting myself ready for proper raiding.
I will begin getting first-aid up to 300, get proper gear and get attuned to the end-game instances immediately, and it should not take a long time. I am really excited about going back to what I used to love so much about WoW.

I hope you liked my application, and I look forward to read your response. Thank you for reading.
