Aloha!

About You

Who are you?
I am a university student of translation for English and French and spend my free time playing WoW and working/partying in the local student’s club.
On Feenix, I have only been active on horde side so far. My main characters there are Petosiris (Holy Priest) and Soturus (Fury Warrior). From there, I know Briskora who recently told me about Final Exit recruiting Resto Druids, so I dare to ask for a friend or social spot until I meet the raid requirements (The character I am applying with is called Taliesin and is only level 40 at the moment). If there is no such a thing as a friend or social rank in Final Exit, I will just work on my character and reapply when he is ready to rumble :)

Where are you from?
I am from a small village near Hannover in Germany, and currently living near Halle/Saale for studying purposes.

How old are you?
22 years by now, feels more like 32, though, due to alcohol and tobacco abuse :P

What are your usual playing hours?
I generally play pretty much every day for a few hours, usually in the evening, but you might meet me online at any other time of the day, too, if I am not required to be somewhere IRL. I have about 30 days played on each my warrior and priest on feenix so far, and some days on other chars, too.

Character Details

Character Name
Taliesin

Character Class
Druid

Character Talent Spec
I will use this Resto PVE spec: http://www.wowprovider.com/?talent=11215...505503155315251
Later on with some gear I will probably go for a Nature’s Grace + Moonglow spec instead.

Gear
Nothing worthy of note so far, but I know which items to get, and where.

What professions have you selected for this character and why?
I have every profession except engineering maxed on my horde characters, so I can provide myself with relevant consumables and gear improvements except raid content enchants. Thus it will probably be enchanting, even though I know that I would have to wait a very long time before it might be my turn to pick up a raid recipe. For a second profession, I will not pick any for now, since gearing up is my priority for now. I will pick up a second prof later on, though, because I kind of feel like a character without 2 professions and 3 secondary professions at 300 is unfinished.

Communication

Can you speak and understand English to a good level?
Check

Can you use TeamSpeak and are you able to speak when required?
Yes, though people often complain about my microphone volume being too low or some static noises while I speak.

Raid Details

• Are you comfortable with loot council?
Sure thing. I like a good DKP system as well, but a good LC has the advantage that players can be rewarded properly, both performance- and attendance-wise.

Mc / Bwl / Naxx pre-quests?
Will be done while gearing up!

Previous raiding experience and details.
I have started playing on retail in 2009 and achieved nothing enourmous when it comes to hardmodes and heroic raids, ss my attitude was that of a casual gamer at the time. I have cleared all normal mode content from tier9 to tier 11 while it was relevant, though, and farmed tier 7 and 8 content, too.
On Feenix I have done 9/15 in Naxx and farmed all lower content, including abuot 10 C’Thun kills.

Raid attendance - You know the raid times and the raid days. Do you have any problem making these?
I have read about the raid times. Unfortunately, I cannot make it home before 20:00 on Mondays for the next 10 weeks. Other than that, I see no issues.

Are you an adult in control of your own playtime or is it dictated for you? Will anything cause you to quit early/afk/cancel the pre-organised event at a moments notice with 39 other people from all over the world who put time aside to spend it with you?
Yes. I spend most of my time at my dorm anyway, and when I am at my parent’s house, they have to respect raid time.

Are you comfortable with the fact that you may not always have a raid spot?
Sure, backup time is herb-farm time (while listening on TS to know when a spot opens, of course)!

Are you willing to download/use all the necessary addons that are required to raid with us?
Sure thing, I am always open to litter my interface with another shiny window :)

Final Exit

What were your former guilds and why did you leave them?
My last retail guild was called Hybris, a pretty small casual raiding guild. I have been in there for one and a half years until we split during Firelands content because the game bored us.
After that, I quit retail for good in September 2011, and started playing on Feenix regularly, joining Viribus Unitis, a then german-speaking guild with fairly good AQ progression (first C’thun kill on horde side). We achieved 9/15 in Naxx up till late march 2012, but then the guild split up, some raiding on TBC, some joining other warsong guilds or quitting for good. Since then, I have not raided end game content, being active in a casual PvP/PvE guild on warsong (Pyran) for social purposes and also on some other servers (q-gaming, emerald dream)with old friends from Warsong. Now, I am searching for serious raiding again, so all other projects are abandoned.

What would you bring to Final Exit as a guild?
I crave to raid high-end content again and I have the dedication needed for it, plus I am a fairly experienced player when it comes to raiding on Feenix.
Thus, once I have my pre raid gear farmed, I could be a solid addition for your roster 

What would you expect from Final Exit as a guild?
I expect a well-organized raid and the company of guys & gals who are both good players and good people. I especially like that No drama policy, since I have been in guilds crushed by rumors and drama, and I don’t need that kind of shit no more.

Hope you like my application!
Greetings!

I don't see there any problem with being social as long as you will farm the required gear, do the pre quests and get needed enchants.

We're not raiding mondays usually so I don't see any problem with that.

A very nice application, as I see you put a lot of effort in it.

+1 for social - but hurry up with leveling / gearing. ;)

Arator
