• What professions have you selected for this character and why? I've chosen Alchemy and Herbalism because they profit me the most both for my needs and my income. Secondary professions are also maxed out except for fishing which I'm working on as we speak. I can also make all the flasks in the game.

• Can you speak and understand English to a good level? Fluently with the occasional spelling error.

• Can you use TeamSpeak and are you able to speak when required? Yes.


Raid Details


• Are you comfortable with loot council? Indeed I am, my old guild on retail used to run LC.


• Mc / Bwl / Naxx pre-quests? All done, working on AD rep for the frost resistance gear on Sapphiron and KT (soon™).

• Previous raiding experience and details.

I'll try and make this as enjoyable to read as I can.

In vanilla I didn't really get the time to shine, hence why I'm playing here now. I mainly did the mid-end raids meaning mid BWL with previous content on farm. In TCB things changed drasticly and I got to join Ad Infinitum on Stormscale (currently on Neptulon) where I spent 3 years of my life. Stuff worth mentioning are SWP pre-nerf, all removed raid achievements/mounts and being the leading guild on Neptulon ever since we merged there. I played as a ret paladin since BT up till I quit during Ulduar. The guild mostly ranked between 50 and 100 worldwide during my time in the guild.

Feenix is another story, I joined the server in December and have been in Crucial ever since the guild was formed. Progress was fine till we hit the end of BWL where we suffered a period with lack of people, when we got back on track we cleared everything in there. It wasn't until recently the officers made a deal with RockSolid to do a merge which led to me being left out because of raid hours, don't judge me as one who got booted for bad performance. My experience on Feenix is BWL physically, I know all the boss fight mechanics in the game to a certain extent, and I learn fast.

• Raid attendence - You know the raid times and the raid days. Do you have any problem making these? There had to be a downside, right? I work shifts varying from 05:30-13:30, 13:30-21:30 and 21:30-05:30 GMT+1. Meaning I have to leave or join mid-raid periodically, In a 5 week period there are 3 weeks I can attend all raids, the other 2 weeks I either have to leave or join mid-raid depending on the week, which I know is a major make or break. If my calculations are correct my attendance would round up to about 70% if you discount attendance the weeks I have to leave/join early.

• Are you an adult in control of your own playtime or is it dictated for you? Will anything cause you to quit early/afk/cancel the pre-organised event at a moments notice with 39 other people from all over the world who put time aside to spend it with you? As mentioned above, work will interfere with my attendance which is major suckage. I chose my own playing time when not at work and my internet is usually pretty stable running at around 30ms. I never go afk in a raid unless a break is announced or when I know there is time to go get a drink/weewee.

• Are you comfortable with the fact that you may not always have a raid spot? Aye, even if it means sitting outside an instance getting ganked while buffing the raid for new tries I'm all up for it (been there done that).

• Are you willing to download/use all the necessary addons that are requied to raid with us? Yes.


Final Exit

• What were your former guilds and why did you leave them? I joined Crucial as they were forming right when I hit 60 in December and I have been with them ever since, yesterday a merge with RockSolid was announced, but I was one of the few not to join, in my case it was the working hours holding me back.

• What would you bring to Final Exit as a guild? A friendly and experienced person to the roster, hoping to stay as long as possible assisting the guild of whatever needs, be it other games or on Feenix.

• What would you expect from Final Exit as a guild? I expect to have fun, get to befriend new people from all over the world. I would like you to give criticism in a constructive manner if criticism is needed

Gearwise you are abit inadequate for Naxx raiding, 5% hit mark is kinda too low, you really do need that 10% cap, however you've obviously put alot of effort into the application and that counts for something imo. Xelthion is our mage CL and we will have a chat and try to get back to you at least by thursday :)

P.S you can solo farm rockfury bracers in silithus, bis bracers :p

Yes indeed, I already use the offhand for frost and I have the gloves in my bank. I was just unsure of how much hit firemages roll with as I've heard alot of different opinions.

fire gear isn't needed at all, get rid of ringo's boots as they are pretty much useless in naxx, just get bloodvine as it will help you get some more hit...you need 10% hit from gear and 6% from talents

also get rid of the frost enchant on gloves, you need fire

otherwise I guess it's solid gear...or maybe I'm just glad that you're not another bloodvine geared mage xD

I can share my opinion with the other people that posted here.
Gear looks above average from applications we've seen before which is quite nice, we might be wanting to gear you up just a bit more before entering naxx.
Before giving my final decision I want to see attendance of the other mages at today's and tomorrow's raid, from that I'll be able to judge.

Alright, sounds good.

I've switched some gear around to get hitcapped while maintaining some crit and re-enchanted the gloves with firepower, my stats are 431 SP, 10% hit and 8% crit from gear at the moment. I'm about halfway through of getting the Rockfury Bracers.

One thing I forgot to mention in the application is that I also have a set of gear with around 200 NR.

You are kinda progressing good ... I like that dedication really .... :)

To come up with the final answer I have to say no, for the following reason:
Yesterday we've been raiding with 7 mages, with 1 backup even, and today yet again I could've brought 8 in if we had enough spots, yet been raiding the entire night with 7. Giving you a spot wouldnt make much sense because there would be no evenings for you to raid on, except for an occasional BWL.
Judging from what I've read here it shouldn't be hard for you to find a spot in on of the currently AQ40 progressing guilds on the server. Make sure to check out the progression thread on the feenix forums and talk to people ingame :)
